About Violette

Violette developed a genuine love of craft at the very early age of 9 and is going even stronger today.

Violette was born a country girl living on a farm among vast apple and orange orchards. Violette became fascinated with birds and flowers and read everything she could get her little hands on, to eventually read encyclopaedias cover to cover learning their botanical and scientific names. Her love of birds and flowers shows in her work.

At 22 her dream to open a shop blossomed into a very successful 35 year business trading as Violet's Florist Gift and Garden Centre violets.com.au. Violette was known as Violet and was loved by all.

In 2016, Violette left the busy-ness of Sydney and moved to the Southern Highlands NSW Australia back to her country roots to spend time developing her love of craft surrounded by trees, birds and flowers.

With more time on her hands and with an extraordinary eye for product, Violette is finding local Bowral gems and making very special hand made products by recycling quality fabrics, re-using antiques and redecorating vintage finds with a commitment to manifesting a holistic approach. We think you will agree her craft is unique and so very special.
